Doing well!
Auntie Tiff update:
So glad to hear that Mommy and Daddy got to see Mason and he is doing well! Everyone is VERY tired, lets hope they all get some good rest tonight! I'm sure we will have updates tomorrow! Keep the prayers comin'!
During a routine anatomy scan at 23 weeks gestation of our second son Mason the Dr found a concerning shadow on his heart.
A series of echos followed and found that Mason had several serious Congenital heart defects that would require surgery shortly after birth.
The heart surgery was a complete success and although Mason may required valve surgery sometime in the future his heart now functions at a "normal" level.
At three weeks of age Mason was diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome. We are just now learning how CHARGE has affected Mason's health and future.
We are on our journey filled with love for our boy and hope for his future. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
