May day is here!
To let everyone know what the plan is...
We are scheduled to have our CS at Huntington Memorial in Pasadena at 10 am.
Mason will be evaluated, stabilized if needed, and then transferred to the NICU for an echo very soon after, if not immediately after his birth.
We will then finally, hopefully, have our final diagnosis and our plan for Mason
If Mason is to need surgery right away the plan is too keep him at Huntington for a few days to a week where he will then be transferred to Children's hospital in LA where he will have his surgery. The Dr's tell us that if he does need surgery we need to plan on being in LA for at least two weeks.
I hope to be able to update the blog tomorrow asap but if not myself than I am going to ask a friend to do it for me.
Please keep Mason in your thoughts, and if you pray, send him prayers. We will be ever so grateful if you could.
There is still a chance that the Dr's will find his condition not as serious as they thought.
We are on this road filled with hope. Thank you for not letting us travel it alone.

Amy, coming to you from Couponing to Disney blog. I just wanted you to know that I will definitely lift Mason (little Jelly) up to the Lord today. I also wanted to thank you for what you did for the Cooper family, that was such a selfless act of love and christian outpouring. Please know you are being lifted up today and that God will provide! Good luck with delivery!

I,also, am coming from COuponing to Disney. I wish you all the best of luck. You are such a selfless person to have given to another family, especially when you have so much going on. I pray everything will be alright. Good luck and definately keep us posted.
Couponing to Disney here as well! You and your family have been in my prayers since Kristen told me of your Disney gift for Baby Andrew. God's Grace by with you and your husband and praying for strength for Mason.
I only just found out about you from Couponing to Disney. I am sending prayer your way as the last preparations for Mason's birth are underway. I pray that the situation is less dire than expected and that medical discovery will allow Mason to lead a full, healthy and active life!
Amy, I am from Couponing to Disney as well. I have been praying for Mason and your family! I will continue praying that his condition is not as serious as they think it may be, but if it is, I pray the doctors will have steady hands and sharp minds so that they can give your son the best care possible. I pray that God will touch Mason's heart and heal him. Keep your hope, keep your faith, and know that no matter what road you are on, you are never alone!!

Amy, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. As I write this I am thinking how much your life just changed at this moment because I just realized it's 10:21 AM your time and wondered if Lil' Mason has made his debut yet?
I'm also a reader from CtD. Thanks for sharing your story. It has touched my heart. I am praying for you, your little boy and the rest of your family. May God bless you!
Praying for little 'Jelly'.
I am saying a prayer you today. I am a reader from couponing to disney and will never forget a certain day about 5 years ago. I gave birth to a little girl and the doctors told me the same thing, that she was going for surgery right away. Well something miracously happened and she was born with a second defect that caused a second pathway in the heart around the original blockage(she has tuberous sclerosis with rhabdomyomas) and they were able to put off her surgery to she was almost 2. Now she'll always have problems but compared to what they told us when I was pregnant and how she is now, I count my lucky stars. So keep your chin up, you never what is in store and more often its good. It's okay to be scared but it will be okay. God Bless and sorry so long.
Sending you and your medical team lots of good thoughts and prayers for a healthy delivery and diagnosis.
Praying for everything to go well for you and Mason. I know your situation is difficult for you, as I was there 7 months ago today, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy with many birth defects. When I was 19 weeks pregnant the doctors told me he had some serious birth defects and there was a chance he had others, when I delivered him I was so scared for him. He had his first surgery dec 15, he got a beautiful smile for Christmas, and has been doing great. Today he is healthier than anyone could imagine and im so very grateful for that. I hope Masons story is as great as my sons! If you need anything at all Im not too far from you. I know Im a stranger but I would do anything I could to help someone find a little peace in a difficult time. I will keep you in my prayers :) Margaret
You will be in our prayers.
