So SO SO many things to tell you...

I almost don't know where to start but first the most important

You are doing great and your condition is stable again. . Your oxygen levels were a little off once we got you to CHLA but the Dr just gave you a little extra oxygen through the NC and you are back at a good level. For a while there they thought they were going to have to intubate you but thankfully that didn't happen.

Although there is WiFi where we are staying we can't seem to access it from our room and even if we could no one seems to know the password till the IT guys come back on Monday. There is WiFi at the hospital though so I will be able to catch up soon.

It's already midnight and although you make me feel like supermom I really am hurting so I'm just going to post one pic for now. I look as exhausted as I am and it's a really raw photo but I think it's beautiful.

I got to hold you for the first time today. I just don't have the words to express to you how just simply holding you made me feel. The nurses at Huntington told me I wouldn't be able to hold you before you had your surgery so I had just steeled myself to the fact that it was something I just wasn't going to get to do.

I tried to thank the nurse David as I was leaving but I only managed to sob. I think it was enough to express to him what his kindness meant to me.

Will update more tomorrow. We will be getting a visit from Aunt JJ, and cousins and we will get to see Pierce! Dad and I can barley contain ourselves we miss him so much. We are also going to get to see Auntie Lo and maybe Uncle Chris too!

Following your updates from Florida, From Couponingtodisney's blog. It absolutely is the best feeling to get to hold your sweet baby for the first time....especially when you didn't get to do it after birth. We had to wait a week for one of our twins and a bit longer for the other....but it was sweet victory when we got to! So I think this picture is absolutely beautiful. Know that we are praying for you!

Following from couponing to disney. I posted earlier. Dr. Starnes did my daughter's heart surgery and did an amzing job. My daughter also had an IAA, VSD, and ASD. She also has digoerge syndrome. All of the kids that I have met with digeorge are doing very well. My daughter is very low functioning but she also has autism. She is super happy though and that is what counts as far as I am concerned. You are in good hands at CHLA. They are amazing! When you get a minute check out www.vcfsef.org Their info is the most accurate out there. There are lots of horror stories on the internet so be careful what you read. VCFSEF has a facebook group as well. If you want to contact me feel free to do so. SOmetimes it is nice to talk to someone that has been there. Thank goodness you knew about his heart before hand. The NICU dr thought my daughter was a drug baby... Anyway, my prayers are with you and your family. You have a long haul ahead of you, but this boy will bring you more joy than you can imagine!
